Sam: Sucker!
Me: What baby? I didn't understand
Sam: SUCKER!
Me: Sucker? Oh no. We don't eat suckers for breaksfast.
Sam: How abooooooout COOKIE!
Me: No, we don't eat cookies either. But you can eat your english muffin and your peach and drink your milk.
At this point, the conversation either turns to a meltdown or just passes by without another word. But on Sunday, it continued like this....
Sam: How aboooooooooooout surprise?
Me: What?
Sam: Surprise.
Me: Surprise?
Sam: Ok.
Me: Close your eyes and I'll get you one.
And this folks, is how he remained for the next ten minutes. Apparently he wanted the surprise to last through the whole meal, and despite my prompting him to open his eyes back up, he decided he liked breakfast better this way.
