Easter

We had a lovely Easter. We colored eggs on Friday. Sam was intent on his eggs being very simple. No crayons. No stickers. No double dyeing. Just one color. Henry enjoyed trying to grab the paper off the table and shred it up.

Saturday night, Sam set out some carrots and water for the Easter Bunny. I tried to persuade him that EB really likes beer, but he was adamant. So, it was water. He asked a lot of questions about how this whole thing was going to go down. I told him when he was asleep, the Easter Bunny would come in with the baskets and leave them in his room. He promptly burst into tears saying he didn't want the Bunny in his room. I told him I would be sure to tell the Bunny that he was, under no circumstances, to enter the room. Then he got really excited and said "I think the Easter Bunny is going to play with my cars."

And what do you know, Sam was right! EB did play with his cars. And in return, he left some baskets and hid some eggs. Photos below.
